Privacy policy

Yojked LLC operates Yojked. This policy explains how we handle information when you use our workout app, website, and support services.

Information we use

• Account: your sign-in provider identifier, email address, display name, username, profile preferences, account settings, and your age-eligibility and terms confirmation. When you confirm account eligibility, we record your selected age group (under 13, 13–15, 16–17, or 18 or older), the declaration version and time, and your terms confirmation. Earlier accounts may have only an adult eligibility confirmation. These records and any account eligibility restriction are private, not part of your shared profile. We do not collect a birth date for this check.
• Fitness information: workouts, sets, routines, programs, goals, personal records, body measurements, exercise preferences, and notes you choose to record.
• Community and support: friendships, invitations, messages, shared training, challenges, reactions, reports, feedback, support requests, and images you upload.
• Purchases: store purchase identifiers, receipts or purchase tokens, subscription history, and entitlement status. Apple or Google handles your payment details; Yojked does not receive your full payment-card number.
• Operation and security: notification tokens, app/device information needed to deliver features, connection information such as IP addresses, error reports, and service logs. Before sign-in, we remember an ineligible age selection using a restriction flag stored on your device, without storing your age group or identity in that flag. We also store settings and workout data locally for offline use.

Why we use it

We use this information to operate your account, check account eligibility, save and sync your training, display progress, provide features you request, verify subscriptions, deliver notifications you enable, respond to support and safety reports, prevent abuse, and diagnose service problems.

How information is shared

Service providers process the information needed to run Yojked, including account sign-in, data storage, hosting, notifications, and subscription verification. Apple and Google process store purchases and related platform services. Optional AI processing is described below. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or in a business transfer subject to appropriate protections.

Your profile visibility and sharing choices determine what other users can see. Messages are visible to their conversation participants. Published training and community activity may be visible to friends or the public according to your choices. People may retain copies of information you share with them. Private profiles do not make content you already shared with other people disappear from their independent copies.

Optional AI features

Before AI workout generation, we ask permission to send your training goals, experience, equipment, schedule, exercise preferences, and any freeform answers or requested changes to OpenAI. Buddy recaps use workout statistics and, only if separately enabled, your notes. Do not put sensitive personal details in freeform inputs. We do not intentionally send your name, email, or account identifier in these model prompts. AI features can be declined; manual workout logging remains available. Requests are configured not to be stored as model responses, but providers may retain information for service security and abuse prevention under their own policies.

Retention and deletion

We retain account and training information while providing your account and until you delete it or request deletion, subject to limited legal, fraud-prevention, security, and dispute-handling needs. Operational logs, temporary data, and backups may have separate retention periods and do not disappear instantly. Store and billing providers may retain transaction records under their own obligations.

Use Profile → Delete my account, or our account deletion page. Deletion locks the account and runs background cleanup of attributable account data. Independent copies saved by other users and their own messages may remain. Account deletion does not cancel an Apple or Google subscription: cancel it with the original store.

Your choices

You can change profile visibility, optional AI preferences, and notifications in the app and device settings. Contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or help exercising applicable privacy rights. We may need to verify account ownership. We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-app targeted advertising.

Age requirements and health information

Yojked is intended for people age 13 and older in the United States. People under 13 may not use the service. Access for ages 13–17 is subject to age and parental permission checks where required; teen access remains unavailable while those checks are being prepared. Do not submit personal information about children under 13. If you believe an underage account or an account without required permission is using Yojked, contact [email protected] so we can investigate and take appropriate action, including account closure and deletion where required. Fitness data can be sensitive: share only what you intend to share. Yojked is a fitness tool, not a medical service.
